Lez Warner is a world-class drummer whose exceptional talent and versatility keep him in high demand. He began his career in the vibrant London punk scene, establishing himself as a go-to session drummer. Over the years, he has recorded with artists like Sham 69, Johnny Thunders, The Waterboys, Julian Lennon, Randy California (Spirit), and Peter Green (Fleetwood Mac).
In London, Lez recorded with major studios, including EMI and Island Records, and collaborated with Julian Lennon, Peter Green, Jimmy Pursey (Sham 69), among others. In the 1980s, he joined The Cult, touring with their Love album and recording the double-platinum Electric album.
After moving to New York City in the 1990s, Lez opened a jingle recording studio and continued as a session drummer, working with notable figures like Stephan Galfas (John Waite) and John McCurry (Cyndi Lauper, Billy Joel, David Bowie). In the 2000s, he relocated to Las Vegas, opening US-UK Studios, where he wrote and produced music for TV and performed in top productions like Erotica, Raiding the Rock Vault, and Tenors of Rock. He's also served as a counselor at Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp and performed in tribute bands, including Petty and the Heartshakers and Arms of America (U2).
Lez has toured with Ronnie Montrose, Bow Wow Wow, Sylvain Sylvain (New York Dolls), and Cheetah Chrome (Dead Boys). He’s contributed to projects like Hookers & Blow (with Dizzy Reed of Guns N' Roses) and Beggars & Thieves (Atlantic Records). His studio work includes recording and producing music for TV and film, playing drums and bass for The Dead Boys, and leading his own band, Lez Electric. Currently, he drums for Micki Free, subs in Raiding the Rock Vault, and performs in Dr. Rock on Fremont Street in Las Vegas.
